Qi Force Training and Recovery
* Breathe * Stretch * Train *
The ultimate balanced fitness program! Qi-Force body design combines the flexibility and balance of yoga, flow activation of Tai Chi, rooting of Qi gong, the explosiveness of mixed martial arts, and pranayama breathwork from India. This all-inclusive practice enhances strength, endurance, and agility as well as facilitates rapid recovery by utilizing heat and ice immersion to improve cardiovascular, endocrine, and muscular system function.
It is designed to get you into the flow state to activate peak performance and has proven stress adaptation techniques for maximum human elevation. This program is a performance lifestyle, rooted in the most basic yet powerful human training application; the ability to adapt.
The 5 Elements of Qi-Force APPLICATION in meridian format.
WATER: Yoga adaptation: Vinyasa style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga.
TREE: Wu Style Tai Chi: began as a Chinese tradition. It’s based in martial arts and involves slow movements, flow state, and deep breaths. Tai chi has many physical and emotional benefits. Some of the benefits of tai chi include decreased anxiety and depression and improvements in cognition.
EARTH: Supreme Science Qi Gong: Profound grounding and rooting found in this practice and is the most energetically sensitive Qigong to date due to the guided breathwork that opens up the meridian channels. It is the mastery of internal martial arts!
FIRE: Performance breathing: The most important aspect of Qi-Force is the use of breathwork. One-Third of the practice is utilizing the power of breath in order to recover, circulate, and motivate. Getting in control of your breath, calming the heart rate, and tapping into the mental state is key. Our goal is to renew, restore, revive, and realign so instead of breaking down you are breaking through!
METAL: Mixed Martial Arts: Intertwined in this practice are external power moves that allow controlled adrenalin into the body but cools off before the cortisol effect occurs. Heat enters the body once fight or flight is ignited then immediate a relaxation kicks into the rest and digest mode. It is a way to tap into both sides of Yin & Yang during your training with a learned sense of discipline.
The stress from life and work (including the pursuit of trying to stay fit) puts demands on the body that cause us to be constantly tapping into the sympathetic nervous system constantly. With this, we create unnecessary cortisol in our body that continues to promote the breakdown of physiology. Long story short – it’s not good.
No wonder we are exhausted and gaining weight no matter what we try and can’t seem to get ahead! As much time or emphasis, we put on training (or in the pursuit of success) we also need to find the balance. How do we do this? First things first, breathe! Qi United shares how to shift gears and tap into the parasympathetic nervous system upon command. The rest and digest mode is achievable and we can begin to allow the fascia to mend itself in order to let the body repair.
We encourage the use of heat and a hot sauna to flush toxins, increase circulation, and to relieve stress. Just as important if not more is the use of cold immersion therapy. The many benefits of the cold can be given on a daily through what we call the a.m. power showers. Extremity training has been proven to be a powerful mental tool to overcome fear and anxiety. This illustrates resilience not just mentally but in the physical body.

RECOVERY:
“The quality of your breathing is the QUALITY of your thoughts and actions.
The quality of your thoughts and actions is the quality of your FEELINGS.
The quality of your feelings is how you’re going to EXPERIENCE life.”
