Damon Damato

Founder | Breathwork Visionary

It is an unbelievable gift that I get to do the work I do every day.

My passion for holistic healing and addiction recovery comes from the pain of witnessing my own brother struggle with substance abuse and alcoholism. Seeing him admitted into five rehabs in five years, unsuccessfully trying to get sober, and ultimately committing suicide was devastating. He, like me, endured childhood trauma that was unshakable. These facilities—then and now—are simply not equipped to address trauma at its root, relying only on talk therapy and SSRIs, which have now been shown to be far less effective than once believed.

Since the late 2000s, I have dedicated myself to finding the most effective, integrative ways to heal the mind, body, and emotions. That search led me to breathwork therapy. To be honest, it was intimidating at first. It takes a true master to help you feel safe in the process. I was told to trust the breath, trust the process, and most importantly, begin to trust myself. Today, I share that same wisdom with others. Breath became my superpower—something that had always been right under my nose. Breath is life. It’s the body’s built-in override switch—a tool for nervous system regulation, emotional mastery, and self-love. It’s also the foundation of every healing modality we offer at The Healing Sanctuary.

At the start of the 2020 pandemic, my wife, Angela Damato Grace, and I used that pause to create a transformative program that addresses addiction, trauma, and PTSD at the root. We asked: Why are relapse rates so high? Why are anxiety and depression skyrocketing? We believed the solution lies in the 10 foundational principles of health, and we set out to restore, revive, and recalibrate the body—without medication—through a science-backed, holistic approach.

Our system integrates Eastern medicine, Chinese herbology, and cutting-edge regenerative therapies like NAD+ IV treatments and peptide protocols. The result is a comprehensive Yin/Yang model of healing that supports every dimension of the individual—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

Over the years, I’ve developed detailed programs for entrepreneurs and high-level executives seeking stress management, clarity, and resilience. I’ve crafted performance intensives for professional athletes, helping them stay competitive through non-traditional training methods. Our Conscious Coupling retreats help couples restore connection, emotional intimacy, and trust. My greatest passion has been supporting young men ages 18 to 35, offering structure, routine, and inner work that leads to lasting transformation in mind, body, and spirit.

Another population close to my heart is our Veteran community. For over a decade, I’ve worked to address PTSD and trauma in veterans through our nonprofit, Qi United, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to holistic healing through breathwork, fitness, and mindfulness. Our Spartan obstacle race training programs are designed to help people overcome both physical and emotional obstacles, build confidence, and rediscover their inner strength—together.

I am so proud of the guests we’ve worked with at The Healing Sanctuary. With our personalized aftercare and ongoing community support, they’ve not only reclaimed their health—they’ve achieved long-term sobriety and emotional freedom. This is the future of holistic sober care, and we’re proud to be leading the way.

Angela Damato Grace

Director of Nutrition | General Manager

Angela Damato Grace is an Advanced Food Healing Science Facilitator, Educator, and Certified Health Coach who takes a science-based, bio-individual approach to holistic wellness. Her customized action plans are rooted in functional nutrition, personalized wellness strategies, and a deep understanding of how food influences both physical and emotional health.

Angela’s work centers on improving the quality of one’s food supply to minimize toxic exposure, maximize nutrient density, support digestion, and enhance mental clarity and emotional well-being. By combining cutting-edge nutritional science with decades of holistic healing experience, she creates sustainable strategies that help clients transform from the inside out.

Her healing journey began in 2003 while traveling through India, where she was introduced to energy medicine, yoga, and meditation. During that time, she studied with a teacher who exposed her to pioneers in the Human Energy Field, including the renowned Barbara Brennan. Inspired, Angela returned to the U.S. to complete her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, followed by two years of advanced study at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing in Miami.

To deepen her foundation, Angela became certified through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, founded by Dr. William Sears—a nationally recognized pediatrician and nutrition researcher. His evidence-based curriculum expanded her understanding of nutritional protocols for individuals of all ages, from children to adults.

Angela later completed advanced training in Food Healing Science Education—a system rooted in high-phytochemical, plant-based nutrition, modeled after the groundbreaking work Conquering Any Disease. This naturopathic approach continues to shape her work with clients seeking natural, sustainable solutions for chronic illness, metabolic health, emotional balance, and vibrant, whole-body wellness.

Dr. Minesh Amin, DO

Internal Medicine | Regenerative Care Specialist

Dr. Amin began his medical journey at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. He went on to receive his medical degree from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. In 2008, he relocated to Las Vegas to complete his residency and board certification in Internal Medicine.

After residency, Dr. Amin made a deliberate decision to stay in the underserved Las Vegas community, where he worked as a Hospitalist, treating a wide range of complex and chronic conditions. His years in the hospital setting led to a pivotal realization:
What if the true purpose of medicine is to keep people out of the hospital altogether?

That insight sparked his exploration into Holistic, Regenerative, and Anti-Aging Medicine—fields that offered proactive, root-cause solutions where traditional approaches often fell short. Committed to offering more for his patients, Dr. Amin pursued advanced training and immersed himself in cutting-edge medical conferences and integrative health education across the country.

Driven by a vision to transform the healthcare experience, Dr. Amin and his wife founded Regenerate Medical Concierge in 2017—an independent, physician-led practice that allows him the freedom to deliver truly personalized, integrative care. Free from the limitations of hospital systems or corporate mandates, he’s able to focus entirely on what matters most: longevity, vitality optimization, and whole-body wellness. His ongoing work in regenerative and functional medicine keeps him at the forefront of innovative therapies that empower patients to reclaim their health and thrive at every stage of life.

Dr. Matthew Roderick is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Licensed Acupuncturist, practicing in both Nevada and California. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where his foundation in human movement science laid the groundwork for his integrative healing philosophy.

After graduating in 2010, Dr. Roderick discovered his passion for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, prompting him to pursue a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California.

Following his graduate studies, Dr. Roderick launched his first practice inside a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) gym, where he provided acupuncture and holistic care for current and former professional athletes, as well as active-duty military, veterans, and law enforcement personnel. His work in this environment helped bridge Eastern medicine with high-performance and tactical recovery.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Roderick has enjoyed serving as an instructor at Wongu University of Oriental Medicine in Las Vegas, where he shared his knowledge with the next generation of healers. Today, he continues to grow his private practice while cherishing time spent with his daughters and deepening his commitment to whole-person healing through the lens of Chinese Medicine.
